About us

Venturini Wines

Passion, family and terroir

Wine is part of our traditions and has evolved alongside them. It is the expression of both present and past daily life. Our wines tell our story and reflect, as precisely as it is unexpectedly, the character of the Venturini family, rooted in a historic wine-growing area: the Valpolicella Classica.

Family

OUR HISTORY

Wine for passion for over 60 years

It all began in 1963 in San Floriano, in the heart of Valpolicella, when Venturini Massimino Agricultural Company took its first steps. The inseparable bond between love for the land and years of experience, hard work and dedication has grown into a family legacy that continues to this day. Grandfather Antonio and father Massimino passed the torch to Daniele and Mirco, each bringing their own skills and talents – whether in vineyard cultivation, winemaking or administration.

Today, the journey continues with the fourth generation of the Venturini family, combining winemaking with a tasting experience designed to tell the story of the wine and the territory in a direct and authentic way.

The timeline has evolved, but the Venturini family story continues along a true thread of passion for the culture of the land and respect for the knowledge inherited from those who have lived its history.

THE TERRITORY

Varieties and soils

The vineyards of Venturini Massimino Agricultural Company thrive on the hills of Valpolicella Classica, resting at 250 metres above sea level with a south-west exposure, across 15 hectares of land.

The vines sink their roots into light, calcareous soils rich in mineral skeleton. Simple and double pergolas alternate, forming orderly terraces supported by the unmistakable dry-stone walls of Valpolicella, known as the “marogne”.

The native grape varieties cultivated at Venturini are Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, and Molinara. Care, attention, trust and experience transform these grapes into a unique product: Valpolicella Classica DOC wine in all its expressions: Valpolicella Classico, Valpolicella Classico Superiore, Amarone della Valpolicella Classico, Valpolicella Ripasso Classico Superiore and Recioto della Valpolicella Classico, alongside IGT wines such as Rosso Veronese Massimino, the sparkling Brut E…lisa, and the white passito Il Castelliere. Among the treasures of Venturini Agricultural Company is also another gem of Valpolicella: Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
